Welcome

Max Ivey headshot

Here, I share the stories of my life as a trail blazing blind entrepreneur specializing in helping businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies improve accessibility for people of all abilities.

While The Accessibility Advantage will be the home of my business posts,

This is where you will hear the personal side of my continuing journey.

And the place to come to for episodes of The What’s Your Excuse? Show.

I’m going to do my best to keep you all informed of my progress as I take yet another new path and focus on becoming the expert on digital accessibility that I have always been.

I hope you will continue to follow along and be encouraged on your own path.

Thanks, Maxwell

  1. Max,

Your website is wonderful! You have it set up to be attractive in appearance, very few and hard to spot errors, and the perfect amount of content. ๐Ÿ™‚

This is the type of site I love to see when I am browsing around, it keeps me interested and makes it clear there is something to be found here. Not to mention the amount of shares you have from this site are amazing, I hope they continue to grow!

I have signed up for your emails, I hope you don’t mind.

    Thank you for sharing,
    Caitlin Popplewell

    • Hi Novera; glad to find you visiting my site. I work hard at it. But the appearance is owed to good friends who help out by offering suggestions for improvements and sometimes just edit it for me. as a supremely positive person I was happy to read your blog. and i have to ask this question. You said I inspired and motivated you? So what new activities have you begun after meeting me through my site? I look forward to hearing about your progress. let me know if I can help you along the way, max

  2. I love your site. I have one fear of going blind as my grandmother was. I admire you so much for achieving so much. I am a Business @personal Coach . Delighted to connect. I am on my way to success working my way up but being knocked by tsunami like every business starting off. Great to connect.

    • hi lillian; glad to meet you. have you addressed this fear of losing your vision? have you seen your eye doctor regularly? Do you take steps to protect what vision you have? Depending on what caused her to lose her vision, have you considered genetic testing? Are you an organ donor or have you thought about it? when we start out we are all at the point of having more passion than anything else. I wish you all the best. Let me know if I can do anything to help. Perhaps we could work together on a project such as a youtube video or google hangout or something. thanks again and good luck, max
