Hello again:
I’m back from my trip to Erie Pennsylvania with a new episode of The What’s Your Excuse? Show.
I was in Erie to speak at an event called Disability Insights put on my my good friend www.amybovaird.com
While there I did two other speaking events and three book signings.
I sold four of my new What’s Your Excuse? Shirts.
I was able to do this thanks to help from Alex owner of www.neatoshop.com
His website is easy to use, his shirts are well made, sizes are true, and the prices are reasonable.
And for a blind computer user I really appreciate his willingness to make things easier on me.
He will upload new art work to the site for me. He has offered to send demo shirts to my designer because he knows I can’t really evaluate how the printed shirts look. And he has even processed the bulk order for the event for me saving me a lot of time in the selection and ordering process.
If you need a printer for shirts, bags, and other merchandise; I hope you will visit his site.
My Guest Kat McLead
This time my guest is Kat McLead. And I thought about saying no.
I wasn’t sure if having a former Dominatrix on my show was a good fit. 🙂
But her initial email captured my attention.
Here is what she wrote.
You want honesty, connection, overcoming adversity, unusual businesses with tons of actionable advice and tools—This sounds like me!
Would your audience be interested in hearing from a former dominatrix turned millionaire Stay at Home Mom who has run her own multiple 6 figure businesses out of her living room?
So, I exchanged a few emails with her and got to know her a little.
I finally decided that with her story I would be doing a disservice to my audience to not have her on the show.
She suffered abuse as a young woman. To overcome that she started her own business in the mens fetish arena and grew into a six figure operation.
She tired of that, got a degree in psychology and started helping sex workers to get out of the life by showing them how to create healthier high income businesses in small amounts of time.
After marriage and a child, she decided to help other stay at home moms by teaching them these same methods.
I know many people say that they can’t start a business or go back to school because they just don’t have the time.
I’m hoping that after hearing from Kat that you will think if she can do it, and if the moms she works with can do it; then what’s my excuse?

Just say:
Alexa Start The Blind Blogger.
Or say google Talk to The Blind Blogger.
You can do this because my friend Chip Edwards at www.createmyvoice.com set it all up for me.
But he is more than that. He is an expert on using these wireless speakers as part of an over all voice strategy to brand yourself, your company, and your products and services.
He speaks on these topics often at national conferences, and is the go to person for all things voice.
If you aren’t already available on Alexa and Google, then you are missing out on a huge audience.
We have to be where people are. And today they are more and more on their audio devices.
People can access your blog or podcast while driving, cooking, gardening, cleaning, mowing the lawn; but only if your content has been made available on these growing new platforms.
I hope you will reach out to Chip and have him help you grow your passion through Alexa and Google.
About Kat
Kat McLead is the creator of the Stay at Home Mom Entrepreneur: *the* proven framework for creating a highly profitable business that you love while working 2 hours a day.
She started her first multiple 6 figure business 20 years ago, and hasn’t slowed down since — not even after having my son. A fun fact: That business’s profits meant that she had way more money than her husband when they first got married, and was able to pay the entire $450,000 down payment on their home. Not that he minded!
She fully planned on being a pampered Stay at Home Mom, but once her son began preschool, and she actually had ME time again for the first time in years, she became restless. So she came out of “retirement” and started coaching her friends just to give her a little extra buzz.
Since then, she’s helped numerous Stay at Home Moms find fulfillment and independent income outside of motherhood all while staying Mom first.
AND that’s how she developed THE ONLY BUSINESS FRAMEWORK specifically designed for a BUSY MOM.

If you got something helpful out of this episode or out of any of the interviews on my show; then I hope you will share them with your friends, family, coworkers, and social media networks.
As I always say the best way to show our appreciation for people coming on my show is to put faces behind the screens.
And I appreciate you. I couldn’t keep doing this without your support and encouragement.
Hopefully, there will be a way that I can support some of you in return.
Until next time thanks and take care out there, Max
