I’m happy to hear that people are enjoying the guests I am bringing to them. I do my best to find inspiring uplifting motivating people who have a great story to share.
Finding More Guests
Now that I think of it, maybe you have a story that needs to be shared on “What’s Your Excuse”.
If you think you do, then by all means email me with an introduction. And if you aren’t sure, email me anyway; and I’ll be the judge. 🙂
This week I am blessed to have another good friend joining me. Her name is Maura Sweeney.
Maura is known around the world as the happiness ambassador, and I’ll admit to having her on for purely selfish reasons.
I met Maura while appearing on the Creative Mastery World Summit hosted by another good friend Alex Okoroji.
That day I had some terrible technical difficulties. I was dealing with an echo that meant I had to listen really hard and then trust my answers were being received even though I couldn’t hear them in my head phones.
On top of that I was very nervous about doing live video and audio. Also, the format was unfamiliar to me. So, while I rarely get really nervous, I did have a lot running through my mind that day.
Luckily for me Maura was scheduled to be on during the same time I was. I took an immediate liking to her. I found her to be funny, laid back, and a kindred spirit in that she too has been through many incarnations of herself.
I love that she started her current business late in her life, and her story about quitting law school to follow her passion is worth the price of admission alone. Or it would be if we were charging you anything to listen. 🙂
I’m not going to give it all away. Like a good barker I just want to tell you enough to make you buy a ticket. So hurry hurry hurry step right up step right in. 😀
Where To Listen

Next time I will be talking with Jedlie. He is one of those people who has earned the privilege of only having one name. You won’t want to miss it.

Also known as “The Ambassador of Happiness,” Maura guides people on the path of “Living Happy – Inside Out.”
This former corporate manager, business owner and home schooling mom stepped out of her comfort zone at midlife and invites others to join her along the way. Maura’s story of learning to dance at age 50 launched her Art of Happiness series on Amazon and the beginning of fun, ironic and sometimes profound inspiration.
Maura can be seen around the block or around the globe searching for great people, great stories and good news to share.
When not chatting about comfort zones and leadership on radio shows and podcasts, she is probably looking for another reason to laugh.

This is where I ask you to share my stuff. Even if you don’t have the time to listen all the way through, please share the post or the direct link with your peeps both online and off. As I often tell people the best way for me to thank Maura and my other guests is to put buts in their seats or faces behind their screens.
And I hope you know just how much I appreciate your taking the time to listen to these interviews. I know you have limited spare time with many competing options for how to fill those few minutes. So, thanks for spending them with us.
I really couldn’t do this without your support. I don’t mean your listening, I mean knowing you like me and are pulling for me to succeed. I mean leaving comments on my blog to encourage me. And I mean letting me know when I have inspired you to try something new and scary.
Until next time thanks and take care out there, Max
